The Bluestone vinyl single of "Remember" >
Formed in Melbourne in 1972 Bluestone signed with the "Bootleg" label the following year. John Creech (drums, vocals) had played with the original Mixtures, Terry Dean (vocals) had been a mid-sixties solo artist, Mike Burke (guitar, banjo) was originally from Wales where he'd been in various groups, and Edward Fry (bass) was a veteran of various sixties bands.

By late 1975 the original lineup had disbanded.  They reformed in the autumn of 1976 as follows: Terry Dean (Vocal, Rhythm Guitar); John Creech (Vocal, Drums & Percussion); Nigel Thompson (Vocal, Bass); Gavan Anderson (Vocal, Lead Guitar).

Bluestone
continued playing into the mid-eighties, veering towards country music.

Lyrics: Pardon me
Have you got the time to let me say hello?
I couldn't help but see
You look like a lady I used to know a long time ago

Remember the time we spent together
Remember the days that went forever
Remember the nights we stayed together
Whatever I do I'll still remember

It's hard to believe
That I held her up and then she let me down
It's all the same to me
But she broke my heart and left me spinnin'
'Round and 'round and 'round

Remember the time we spent together
Remember the days that went forever
Remember the nights we stayed together
Whatever I do I'll still remember
