I must confess, I didn't know much about this Australian band until I began doing research for my web site ... but here's a quote from the Tara Hall site, dedicated to Australian independant music:

Bluestone are a "legendary Melbourne band from the 70's & 80's, well-known and respected for its vocal harmonies, with a blending of country-rock and 'West-Coast' guitar sounds. Winner of the first Tamworth country music festival, the band achieved great success, despite a distinct lack of assistance from the mainstream Australian music industry."

The album was produced by Buzz Cason for Avenue Records, and was recorded at AAV-Australia Studios, Melbourne. / Engineer: Jim Barton. Mixed at Creative Workshop, Nashville U.S.A.
