According to historical documents, the Skrine family inhabited the manor of "Warleigh", near Bath, England, from before 1400 until 1956 when Anna Dorothea Skrine passed away, age 81, unmarried and without children.
"Skrine of Warleigh"
"Skrine of Warleigh", a history of the Skrine family of Bathford, was published in 1936 by Dr. E. W. Ainley-Walker.  Only 200 copies were printed. Ainley-Walker was the Dean, School of Medicine, Oxford, and an amateur historian.  He married Inez Skrine, his second wife, in 1919.
